In addition, she studies the dog training films of Victoria Stilwell, in which she shares many solutions to the behavior of difficult dogs and their possible solutions. The title is: At Both Ends of the Leash

The most common skin diseases /hives, hot spots, flea eczema, eczema, atopic dermatitis, allergic skin rashes, autoimmune skin lesions, itchy skin inflammations, moist dermatitis caused by yeast fungi, bacterial purulent and/or parasitic dermatitis, cancerous skin diseases (mast cell tumor)/ and their direct triggers:
bacteria (especially Staphylococcus)
fungi (Malassezia species)
mites (Demodicosis, scabies)
allergies (to respiratory and digestive allergens, flea dander)
skin lesions of autoimmune diseases (Lupus)
the so-called hot rash (usually in the hot season, the dog suddenly licks its skin in a round spot and the hair falls out. The spot is red and the area is extremely itchy.)
However, the main causes of skin diseases are allergic and autoimmune in origin, which occur due to the disruption of the cellular and humoral part of the immune system. These arise as a result of inadequate nutrition. Feeding processed and starchy, high Glycemic Index foods (rapidly digested carbohydrates) is the basis for intestinal digestive disorders. First of all, they quickly raise blood sugar levels and cause oxidative stress, which increases the tendency to inflammatory diseases. This is also true for the intestinal mucosa and the epithelium of the respiratory tract. When the intestinal mucosa is damaged due to local inflammation, the so-called. Leaky gut syndrome, because inflammatory exudate loosens the gaps between the intestinal epithelial cells and through these openings, protein breakdown products (short-chain peptides) can be absorbed that would not be able to pass through the healthy intestine. These protein chains activate the function of immune cells and create allergies and food intolerances. These in turn trigger inflammation throughout the body. This also causes itchy skin lesions. Chemicals that are toxic to intestinal cells also contribute significantly to leaky gut syndrome, and in many cases their intake is the main cause of its development (drugs, preservatives, synthetic antioxidants, chemicals against parasites).

Symptoms:
Usually severe itching, scratching, constant scratching of the affected areas, rubbing against the wall or objects. Hair loss, dullness and brittleness of the hair. Dark pigmentation of the skin in the abdominal area, unpleasant, rancid smell of the skin (which occurs especially when wet in the rain).
In most cases, the above problems and the symptoms caused by yeast fungi (Malassezia) are caused by improper stomach and intestinal digestion and an unbalanced immune system. The treatment is lengthy and requires both external and internal treatment.

The combination of the following agents has proven to be the best for treating the above symptoms:
Improving stomach and intestinal digestion and eliminating fungi in the intestines and on the skin: Stomach Digestive Helper, Digestive Enzyme & Probiotic complex
Stabilizing the immune system, providing vitamins and antioxidants and essential Omega 3 unsaturated fatty acids with Multivet Mega C complex and Krill Omega D3+K2 gel,
External baths: Pet shampoo medicinal shampoo (bath with it 2x a week), has a skin soothing and anti-itching effect.
Reducing allergic reactions and relieving itching: Protective Force, Stomach & Bowel
Completely eliminating rapidly decomposing carbohydrates (rice, pasta, potatoes, corn, etc.) from the diet and minimizing the intake of Omega 6-containing fats (animal fats, except fish). Eliminating pre-processed foods from the diet.
The recommended drugs are available in combination in the package called Complementary Treatment of Dermatitis.

The listed skin lesions and intense scratching are truly allergic symptoms, which have actually developed to all the proteins that have been consumed in the last 3 months. There is also a cross-allergy among poultry, meaning that if you eat duck, you will also be partially sensitive to it. Read this article: Leaky Gut Syndrome in Dogs
The solution is to eliminate leaky gut syndrome, which you can help with this package: and by giving unprocessed food that does not contain starch and rapidly decomposing carbohydrates at all.

SUGGESTED DIET:

Not cooked to death, just scalded, or raw meat that the animal has definitely not eaten in the previous 3 months, 80%-90% meat (lean meat, cartilage, offal) and 10-20% cooked fibrous vegetables (zucchini, pumpkin, carrots, sweet potatoes, etc.) seasoned with duck fat. If you eat this for 3 months and use the above digestive package, then after at least 3-4 months you can carefully return to the protein sources that previously showed allergic symptoms. Be careful, because any treatments that damage the intestinal flora, insecticides, antibiotics, vaccinations applied for any reason can reverse the beneficial effects already achieved.

Avoid all synthetic substances that the dog has received, antibiotics, mites, antifungal agents, vaccinations, preservatives in the food, etc. Eliminate all foods with a high Glycemic Index

In the vast majority of cases, leaky gut syndrome triggers the autoimmune disease. You can find its causes in this description: https://energy-vet.hu/kezelesi-protokollok/emesztessel-kapsulates/lyukas-bel-szindroma/

My suggestions:

1. Change your diet: Feed unprocessed food that contains no starch or rapidly decomposing carbohydrates. Not cooked to death, but scalded or raw meat, 80%-90% meat (lean meat, cartilage, offal) and 10-20% cooked fibrous vegetables (zucchini, cooking pumpkin, kale, carrots, sweet potatoes, etc.) seasoned with duck fat. When using this, pay attention to regular anti-parasite treatments, which should be carried out with natural substances.

In animals prone to allergies and inflammation, meat should be cooked!

2. Eliminate all synthetic chemicals from your dog's life, replace parasite protection with natural forms.

3. Apply this package: Digestive organs (stomach and intestinal tract) supplemental treatment package

4. Other treatments according to existing symptoms

I find that if a dog has never received a treatment containing anti-tick venom (collar, drops, tablets), then even if it is bitten by 100 ticks, it will not have babesiosis. But if the synthetic chemical toxins weaken its immune system and are excreted from the blood to the point that they no longer have a killing effect against ticks, then if even one tick bites it, it will almost certainly have babesiosis.

In other words, the remains of all previously received drugs should be detoxified from the body and the dog should be protected with natural substances instead, then if a tick still bites it, it will not be able to get infected. But in this case, it is certain that you will still get 5-7 days of Strong Immune. treatment is necessary.

Persistent diarrhea is most often the result of upset intestinal flora and mucosal changes. This is called leaky gut syndrome: Dog leaky gut syndrome
Read the article in the link and apply this package: Digestive organs (supplementary treatment package for the stomach and intestinal system)
Do not give him food with preservatives, parasite killers, anything that can be absorbed through the intestine and damage the intestinal mucosa and intestinal flora. Keep eliminating the causes listed here, stop eating processed foods completely, and do not give him fast-digesting carbohydrates. Be careful, because treatments that damage the intestinal flora for any reason, insecticides, antibiotics, and vaccines can reverse the beneficial effects already achieved.

For prevention of intestinal worms, lungworms, heartworm larvae, use GUARDIAN capsules for prevention and supplement of therapy against all worms. In a 3-week course, 2x 2 mini capsules or 2x half a normal capsule per 10 kg of body weight per day.

For the prevention of babesiosis, the additional use of Strong Immune may be considered. It is important to note that these products contain only natural ingredients to achieve the repellent effect, so they do not provide 100% protection, but they greatly reduce the chance of infection. They also contribute to the animal's own immune system providing an adequate level of protection, which it contributes to by not blocking these vital cellular immunity processes.

For prevention against fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, you can use these products:

The symptom may indicate a filamentous fungal infection. Which can/usually starts on the basis of a weakening of the cellular immune response. It could be triggered by several reasons: insulin resistance, consequent adrenal exhaustion, toxic effects affecting the bone marrow, etc. We can influence these in a positive direction by stopping further intake of toxic effects, detoxification, immune support therapy and transforming carbohydrate metabolism. As a result, the cellular immune response is regulated and the filamentous fungi are eliminated, the skin lesions disappear. Be careful, because treatments that damage the intestinal flora, insecticides, antibiotics, vaccinations applied for any reason can reverse the already achieved beneficial effects.

The cause of darkening of the skin is the excessive production of melanocyte stimulating hormone (MSH), which is caused by the overproduction of adrenocorticotropic hormone releasing hormone (ACTH-RH) in the hypothalamus. This usually occurs in cases of adrenal cortex exhaustion. I recommend this package, supplemented with Cell protection:

Also, switch to a processed-free diet. Read also: Allergies and other itchy diseases

It is caused by stagnation of perianal gland secretion. It is caused by the cessation of proper emptying and the slowing of blood flow, or the blockage of secretion discharge. I recommend this package to regulate the intestinal system and achieve the proper stool consistency:

You can also achieve improvement by using Protective force. Long-term repeated medical expression does not help eliminate the problem, and even perpetuates it, because the animal wants to replace the appropriate amount of secretion in the gland, but it is softer than normal and cannot be properly emptied due to harder stool. Expression sometimes helps to resolve the congestion more easily.
(Perianal fistula. It is caused by stagnation of blood flow. Its treatment is the same as that described for inflammation.)

The main causes of bad breath are usually stomatitis, tartar, and indigestion. The Tartar, Stomatitis package can be used to treat it, but the Digestive Organs (Stomach and Intestinal System) package can also be of good service.

Symptoms of diabetes in dogs and cats. How can you tell if your pet has diabetes?
Diabetic animals are listless, have no appetite, are weak, and appear depressed. Since glucose is excreted in the urine and the kidneys use a large amount of water to dilute the sugar, they excrete a lot of urine and drink a lot to replace it (sugar urine rate). This is also known as polydipsia-polyuria. Despite this, they may vomit and become dehydrated. They begin to lose weight because they obtain sugar by breaking down their muscles. Later, they become weak. Their skin becomes severely flaky.

Feeding diabetic dogs and cats
It is generally true that the main food of carnivores is meat and offal, as well as small amounts of fibrous plant parts and a little fruit. The ancestors of dogs and cats could not eat grains or could hardly eat them. Therefore, we must follow these principles in their healthy diet. Their feeding should be carried out according to the description of the guideline diet for our carnivorous animals. This can be followed successfully for any disease, but it must be strictly adhered to when feeding diabetic dogs and cats!

Let's examine what diabetes really is
In the case of diabetes, sugar is unable to enter the cells. This is due to a lack of the hormone insulin (type 1 diabetes). Or because the cells have lost their sensitivity to insulin and the insulin that is otherwise produced in normal amounts does not affect the cells properly. (type 2 diabetes). The cells must obtain energy from other sources. They begin to break down the body's own proteins for this. Or they break down fats, which leads to the accumulation of ketone bodies in the body. However, these are dangerous byproducts, as they make the blood excessively acidic and lead to acidosis. In such a state, the brain does not function properly and this can even lead to coma. Additional damage is caused by the free radicals that accumulate at this time, which mainly damage the walls of blood vessels, kidneys, and eyes. Your pet's body is damaged by free radicals, as fat and proteins are depleted. Blood vessels, nerves, eyes, heart, nerves, and kidneys are often damaged.
Predisposing factors for the development of diabetes: eating habits (eating high-carbohydrate foods), obesity, stress, endocrine gland dysfunction, autoimmune processes, leaky gut syndrome, etc.
Female dogs and male cats are more likely to develop diabetes than their counterparts of the opposite sex. Among dogs, puli and dachshunds are also genetically more prone to diabetes, such a genetic predisposition does not occur in cats.

Types of diabetes in dogs and cats
In the case of type 1 diabetes, the insulin-producing cells of the pancreas are destroyed and do not produce insulin or only produce a greatly reduced amount. This results in an insulin deficiency. In this case, insulin injection replacement is necessary. There are some cases when the dog or cat needs insulin for a certain period of time, but then its own production is restored. This is a rarer case.

In the case of type 2 diabetes, insulin production is only partially reduced or only the sensitivity of the cells to the insulin that is otherwise produced in normal amounts has decreased. In this case, insulin should not be given by injection, because it can reduce or stop its own production. Instead, medication can be given orally or the natural-based preparations recommended on this website also lead to results in the vast majority of cases. In this case, dietary changes, weight loss and food supplements lead to results.

Diagnosis and treatment of diabetes in dogs and cats
In the case of the above-mentioned suspicious signs, fasting blood sugar measurement and urine analysis are possible. If the urine analysis shows the presence of ketones, which is a fairly easy-to-diagnose sign of more severe diabetes, then it is possible to clarify the diagnosis with targeted, fasting, non-stressed blood sampling.

Type 1 diabetics may need insulin injections and a change in diet (see guideline diet), and natural supplements (trace elements, zinc, chromium, vanadium, Omega 3 fatty acids, antioxidants, extracts of herbs that affect the adrenal cortex and pancreas), and detoxification. Thus, in a small proportion of cases, it may be possible to abandon insulin, or at least the given insulin dose can be reduced.
Dogs with type 2 diabetes do not need insulin injections, as changes to their diet, weight loss, and oral antidiabetic medications and the natural supplements detailed above are usually enough to lead a symptom-free life.

In the case of Diabetes mellitus (DIABETES), the most important thing is to positively influence insulin resistance. The development of which occurs based on the following relationships:

VERY IMPORTANT!

processed, grain-containing food → high glycemic index GI→ sugar⭡ → INSULIN ⭡ → BLOOD SUGAR ⭣→ STRESS→ CORTISOL ⭡→ REPEAT MULTIPLE TIMES→ Adrenal cortex exhaustion→ Thyroid gland⭣→ sugar utilization ⭣→ INSULIN RESISTANCE
The Diabetes package can be used for its treatment.

Cortisol⭡→ Gluconeogenesis⭡ (proteins also become glucose) (this also helps the development of insulin resistance)
Cortisol⭡ → cortisol receptors ⭡(the same amount of cortisol causes an increased effect) Precushingoid (pre-Cushing's disease) state develops

insulin⭡→ muscles (little movement) → fat storage⭡→ insulin resistance⭡ (Type II Diabetes) → gluconeogenesis⭣ → hunger⭡→ new food consumption→ sugar⭡→starts over

The Diabetes package can be used for its treatment.

The disease is caused by a hereditary hip joint deformity and femoral head deformity. However, the animal's current nutritional habits also contribute to the development of symptoms. To positively influence and improve or even eliminate the symptoms, we can use this package:

Tumor diseases
It is necessary to follow the given protocol exactly. Keep the breaks, because time is needed between the administration of the drugs for regeneration. My experiences are mostly good, pathological processes slow down, they are accompanied by fewer unpleasant symptoms and pain, incomplete bone formation is straightened, metastasis is much rarer. Overall, survival increases several times, especially with timely application.

I usually say that you cannot recover from cancer, but with appropriate, timely treatment you can live a long, symptom-free life. But the condition for this is lifelong treatment with breaks to prevent recurrence.
Therefore, continuous treatment for half a year, and then if there are no symptoms, a monthly course is applied every two months. After 1 year, a 4-week course is recommended every 3 months permanently. In case of any tumor-related or inflammatory symptoms, a monthly treatment every two months should be followed, and should not be reduced. Continuous administration of 28 days means a 3-day break.
When the owner feels that the condition is encouraging and stops the treatments, unfortunately, recurrence almost always occurs and then it is difficult to influence the condition favorably.

However, at least about 50% of malignant processes respond well to the use of packages consisting of natural substances. There are also complete remissions, but the general result is a significant slowdown of the process and keeping the animal's general condition in good condition for a long time. In the vast majority of cases, the quality of life usually remains for a long time, up to double the previously predicted time. But unfortunately, there are exceptions, the reasons for which can be of many kinds.

Is the tumor inoperable or is there no suitable chemotherapy option for it? Do you not want to treat your pet's tumor in a conventional way? In these cases, there are other effective options to prolong your pet's life or even cure it. If other treatment methods are chosen – as a supplementary agent – increasing the effectiveness of the drugs used and reducing side effects can be beneficial for the animal's life.

Supreme Immunity food supplements can help in all these cases.

Their use is specifically recommended in the case of TUMOROUS diseases – as a supplementary agent – together with the administration of some supplementary agents.

Application options:
The use of the product cannot replace a veterinary diagnosis. They can be used to maintain a healthy state, as well as to support the treatment recommended by a veterinarian for the following diseases in the following cases:

Cell regeneration package I. : so-called. cold type, blood circulation obstructed and blood stagnation tissue growths (tumors), mast cell tumor (Mastocytoma), limb melanoma, melanosarcoma, hemangioma, hemangiosarcoma, anal gland (smell gland) tumor, nasal-thyroid-salivary gland adenocarcinoma, spleen-liver-rectum-perianal-prostate-brain-bladder-lung-breast tumors and lung metastases, lower abdominal tumors. In case of breast cancer, it is also recommended to supplement the products of package I with the Liver Detox preparation.

Cell regeneration package II.: so-called warm type, secretion stagnation cell growths (tumors): lymphomas, nasal adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, fibrosarcoma, skin tumors, in some cases of prostate and bladder tumors, pain relief caused by tumors.

Cell Regeneration Package III.: In case of Osteosarcoma, when the X-ray examination also shows bone resorption, then KRILL OMEGA D3+K2 is also recommended in addition to this package.

Dosage Considerations:
It is recommended to start the dosage of the combination package immediately after the discovery of any tumor-suspicious lesion (nodule, lipoma, wart, cyst, etc.)

For all packages and body weights:

With STRONG IMMUNE capsules, we always give cream, cream cheese with one or two tablespoons or hidden in it. It is very bitter when you open it from the capsule.

A completely rapidly digestible carbohydrate-free diet is recommended (percentages are for one week): a total of 60-65% minced chicken back, chicken neck, beef, fish, roe, fish milk or a mixture of them, 2-5% eggs, 20% beef liver or chicken liver, 10% green vegetables, 2% psyllium husk mixture. Or instead of psyllium husk, use CHITOSAN fiber supplement and detoxifier, or the STOMACH & BOWEL capsule.

During the treatment, the use of the DIGESTIVE ENZYMES & PROBIOTICS complex is recommended to ensure proper stomach and intestinal digestion and the regeneration of the intestinal flora. Since, unlike other probiotics, it is made of stomach acid-resistant strains, it can be administered mixed with food without damaging the germs.

What processes can occur during treatment?

In the first 3-4 weeks: The area around the originally cold tumor may swell or possibly heat up (become inflamed) and the character of the tumor may change (its borders dissolve on ultrasound).

In the next 3-4 weeks, the size of the tumor may noticeably decrease. In this case, further use is still necessary until it gradually loosens and dissolves.

If the size of the tumor does not change after the first 3-4 weeks of use, then the tumor is probably caused by a benign tumor or inflammation. In this case, surgical intervention (which can be laser or thermal scalpel, because these can minimize damage to healthy cells) or other treatment may be an option.

DM was previously described as “canine MS,” but the disease is more similar to the human disease known as ALS. Dogs with DM have a mutation in the gene that codes for the enzyme SOD-1 (superoxide dismutase). Instead of acting as an antioxidant, the enzyme creates “excitotoxicity” by causing a buildup of glutamate in the spinal cord. Like ALS, this buildup is toxic to the nerves, causing them to slowly die.

There is no single, highly effective drug for ALS that can be borrowed to treat DM, but several studies have demonstrated the potential usefulness of herbs in treating the condition.

Laboratory studies have shown that certain herbs can help reduce SOD in tissues and protect neurons from dying from excess glutamate.

If the levels of mutant SOD can be reduced and the damage caused by glutamate can be reduced, non-fatally damaged neurons in DM dogs can return to some degree of normal function. The progression of the disease can be halted and some animals can regain strength and coordination.

Herbal combinations that can reduce SOD are found in the following supplements: Liver detox, Protective force, Cartilage & Spine builder, Adrenal support. Give these in combination.

For many owners, epilepsy means that the animal will be stigmatized for the rest of its life and that its pet will no longer be able to live a normal life.

In many cases, canine epilepsy is completely curable!
Everyone thinks that epilepsy in dogs is a disease that causes incurable symptoms. However, this is not entirely true, canine epilepsy is completely curable in the majority of cases and in the majority of cases. That is, the seizures disappear completely or at least become less frequent or the intensity of the symptoms decreases with the appropriate treatment of the underlying causes (liver overload, insufficiency, persistent intestinal disorders that lead to the accumulation of toxins in the bloodstream, macroelement or trace element or essential fatty acid deficiencies, imbalances, leaky gut syndrome).

In addition, it is common for toxins to enter the body from external sources and trigger convulsive states, which are often called cerebral hemorrhages or brain processes. Examples include insecticides, vaccine preservatives, chemicals used for the prevention of parasites, etc.

Antioxidants, probiotics, herbs that affect the nervous system and liver, trace elements, omega 3 fatty acids, and natural extracts with detoxifying effects provide effective help in the treatment of epileptic dogs. Putting together a treatment plan for canine epilepsy is not always easy, and especially stubborn, prolonged cases can be treated effectively with expert veterinary help.
It is also worth noting that there are also untreatable epilepsies, especially in the case of focal lesions of the brain, which can occur as a result of inflammatory, toxic, tumoral or traumatic causes. In such cases, only the alleviation of symptoms or the reduction of seizure frequency is the maximum achievable result.

Other important effects that also increase the susceptibility to seizures are leaky gut syndrome and insulin resistance. See these two pathologies in the description of the relevant diseases!!

Supplementary treatment of epilepsy in dogs with Energyvet and Supreme Immunity products
For the treatment of epilepsy in dogs, the combination of KRILL OMEGA D+K2, RELAX & BALANCE, DIGESTIVE ENZYMES & PROBIOTICS is used with the best results. These have proven to be effective in the treatment of both epilepsy and epileptoid seizures.

The dosage of the preparations prescribed in the package should be done together, at the same time, and all at once!

Basically, I talk everyone out of euthanasia. My principle is that if we have had a beloved companion with us for a long time, then we should give them dignity by waiting for their eventual death and caring for them until the end. To reassure ourselves that they will not suffer any longer is not right, because we do not have the right to decide between life and death. It is as if we were very sick and our family decided for us to be put to sleep, because the doctors and they think we are beyond saving. The law does not even allow this for humans. But if you have already decided this way, then there is no point in regretting it, at most you can consider my writing and decide differently next time. If we remove the possibility of euthanasia from the possible solutions for an animal's illness, then perhaps the medical treatments applied could also be done in accordance with the point of the medical oath that -NIL NOCERE- AT LEAST DO NO HARM! .
We must do everything we can to alleviate the suffering and symptoms of our animals. I do not support euthanizing them, even in serious conditions; if the animal is seriously ill, it will go away on its own within days. If a mother whose child has a serious, incurable illness were told that there is no chance of recovery and that the child should be euthanized to end its suffering, would the mother agree? Probably not, and she would still count one more day, which would allow her to spend more time with her seriously ill child. How is this different from when a family member, a small animal, is similarly ill?

Victoria Stillwell, Dog Behavior Therapist, writes about tail chasing:

Movement behaviors such as spinning and tail chasing are usually an occasional response to a stressful episode. However, these behaviors become obsessive when they occur in other environments and situations without a specific event that triggered the behavior.

How can I stop my dog from spinning or tail chasing?

In most cases, exercise and increased mental stimulation will reduce the frequency of these behaviors.
Giving your dog activity toys, puzzles, and problem-solving games can help relieve stress and refocus his mind.
Many dogs that chase their tails have a high prey drive. Introduce this behavior to your dog by either fetching or letting him run off leash in a fenced area.
Agility is a great sport that encourages your dog to follow your cues and match devices that are usually set up in straight lines. Encouraging your dog to go through a device, such as a straight tunnel, can help redirect his desire to spin.
In some cases, increased exercise can actually increase a dog's desire to spin or chase its tail. In this case, low-activity problem-solving games, such as finding a hidden toy with food, are recommended.
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a potentially disabling psychiatric condition in which obsessive thoughts and compulsive actions, such as hand washing, cleaning, hair pulling, or hoarding, take over a person's life. Canine compulsive disorder (CCD) is very similar to human OCD in that dogs also have compulsions to perform repetitive behaviors that eventually take over their lives.

CCD is exacerbated by anxiety, frustration, and stress, but genetics also play a role, as many breeds suffer from certain types of repetitive behaviors. Spinning and/or tail chasing is common in Bull Terriers and German Shepherds, as is blanket or side sucking in Dobermans.
Examples of compulsive behaviors in dogs include:

Licking
Spinning & Tail Chasing
Blanket Sucking
Fly or Air Snapping
Chasing Light or Shadow
CCD can develop in dogs that live sensory lives when their basic or breed-specific needs are not met. These dogs find other ways to cope by engaging in repetitive activities such as pacing, spinning, and licking that serve no meaningful function other than to relieve stress and frustration. The more these dogs indulge in repetitive behaviors, the more ingrained these behaviors become until they simply cannot stop.

Repetitive or distracting actions are initially self-soothing and act as a release for extra energy, but when they take over a dog’s life, behaviors that used to calm the dog now cause extreme stress. People contribute to and exacerbate CCD by confining their dogs to crates or small kennels for long hours, not providing an outlet for their dog’s energy, or being rough with their dogs.

CCD has also been linked to seizures and abnormal brain function, so deeply ingrained compulsions usually require medical intervention with anticonvulsant or anti-obsessional medications. This condition can manifest in many ways, and each requires careful consideration when determining how best to try to treat it.

Mites are natural inhabitants of the ear canal in small numbers, they are kept under control by the immune system, so they do not cause symptoms. They appear in large numbers for two reasons.
1. The immune system is weakened by some effect, this is usually a toxic load.
2. The amount of earwax increases due to substitution secretion. The liver is burdened and the body excretes fatty decomposition products in the earwax.
Treatment: Liver and digestion support, intestinal flora regulation. Change of feed, giving unprocessed, rapidly decomposing food without carbohydrates. Local ear irrigation, inhibition of mite reproduction with volatile oils.

The cause of recurrent, chronic inflammations may be a weakening of the immune system. This is caused and maintained by the previous development of leaky gut syndrome. You can read more here: Leaky gut syndrome in dogs
The treatment consists of two parts. 1. Regeneration of the intestinal tract, for which the combination of Stomach & Bowel, Digestive enzymes & Probiotics, Cell Protection is used. 2. Local treatment of the ear canal, for which you can use Ear Ease and Pet Ear Cleaner to rinse the ear with discharge.

The external ear canal of the ear is highly exposed to the effects of bacteria and fungi, and the lack of ventilation and the moist, waxy environment also predispose to inflammation caused by all these pathogens. But these germs can only settle if the dog's digestive and immune systems and excretion are not working perfectly. In other words, the cause of the inflammation of the ear canal follows from the internal condition.

The treatment is carried out in several parallel ways:

Local treatment
Restoration of the digestive system. Regeneration of the intestinal flora.
Detoxification
Restoration of immune system activity
Inhibition of mite reproduction
I. Local treatment: Regular cleaning and rinsing of the ear canal with PET EAR CLEANER earwash liquid (With this, the external ear canal should be rinsed at least once a day, but in case of heavy discharge, twice (morning and evening), so that the ear canal is filled with the earwash liquid, then the ear and head are held for 1-2 minutes so that the active ingredients take effect, then the dog is allowed to shake it out of the ear canal. Do not touch the ear canal! )
The inflammation that develops in the ear canal is most effectively alleviated by administering EAR EASE orally.

II. For long-term success, a change in diet and the administration of DIGESTIVE ENZYMES & PROBIOTICS complex, STOMACH & BOWEL and STOMACH DIGESTIVE HELPER are necessary. Because the root cause of the whole problem is intestinal indigestion! Treating this is the key to solving chronic cases.

III. To increase the activity of the immune system and reduce inflammation, it is recommended to use STOMACH & BOWEL and KRILL OMEGA D3+K2.

Persistent inflammation of the external auditory canal is usually related to digestive disorders. It is often caused by leaky gut syndrome, as in your case. You can read more about it here: Leaky Gut Syndrome in Dogs For its treatment, you will need this information: Treatment protocol for inflammation of the external auditory canal in dogs
You can also use these two packages, in combination:

Giardiasis occurs when
– cellular immunity is weakened
– the intestinal flora is upset by many antibiotics
– due to incomplete digestion, partially digested foods rot and poison the liver and intestinal epithelial cells
– the spleen energies responsible for perfect digestion are exhausted
These separately, but together, can lead to diarrhea, intestinal cramps, gas, intestinal infections. A special form of this is the proliferation of single-celled parasites (Giardiasis).

Octane treatment is required. In fact, what is found in the description of the treatment of leaky gut syndrome should be followed: Dog leaky gut syndrome
Complemented with liver detoxification and spleen energy support, for which Guardian, Liver Detox, Protective Force are suitable together with the Digestive System package.

The production of digestive enzymes and stomach acid in aging dogs and cats decreases with age. In order to keep them balanced and prevent constipation, they need special nutrition and supplements. For this, stomach acid-reducing and anti-inflammatory drugs are not a good idea. Their continued use should be strongly considered. However, by giving digestive enzymes and natural supplements that help produce stomach acid and create good intestinal flora, you can help the intestinal passage and restart it with this package:

And first feed with broth that has been cooked for a long time, until the meat is well cooked and thick, then continue with slightly cooked chicken breast. Vomiting stops if the food can be absorbed well by the stomach acid and reaches the small intestine. In addition to meat dishes, the above supplements also contain a sufficient amount of vegetable fiber, which is essential for eliminating constipation. Duck fat is also used as a seasoning when spread on meat.

In my experience, stomach ulcers and vomiting that appear acidic are not caused by excess stomach acid, but by its lack.
The cause is incorrect feeding habits and a diet that is not suitable for dogs. Which is further worsened by antacids.

Development: The stomach needs to soak the eaten food with acid, then it can only move from the stomach to the small intestine. If not 1x max. per day If the dog is fed 2x, then the consequence of feeding more than once is that the stomach contents do not acidify and stagnate and ferment there, and begin to rot, which leads to gas formation, which in turn leads to the stomach contents flowing back into the esophagus due to the increase in pressure, which causes regurgitation and vomiting.
Finding: The vomit must be subjected to a pH test, and if the value obtained is towards alkaline, then we can be sure that the problem is due to stomach indigestion and relative acid deficiency. Which antacids make worse.

Solution:
Feed 2x a day, but give smaller portions than usual - until the situation is resolved - so that the weakly produced gastric juice is able to acidify the food consumed.
Give the DIGESTIVE ENZYMES & PROBIOTICS complex 2x a day to improve stomach digestion and intestinal flora. STOMACH DIGESTIVE HELPER capsules can also be used effectively to improve immediate symptoms.

STOMACH DIGESTIVE HELPER should be used during every meal to ensure that food passes through the stomach at every meal!! THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO OBSERVE.

If there is severe inflammation of the stomach mucosa or the stomach wall has already atrophied (therefore, very little natural gastric acid can be produced in the stomach), then it is possible that the recommended dose for body weight is not enough to prevent reflux symptoms, in which case it is necessary to double the dose of Stomach Digestive Helper given per feeding.

Giving STOMACH & BOWEL is also effective by harmonizing digestion. Improving the condition of the liver and supporting detoxification are also important parts of the treatment: LIVER DETOX
– Feed should be given without antioxidants and preservatives.

Further harmful effects of stomach digestion disorders: Stomach digestion disorders also lead to the collapse of the intestinal flora in the vast majority of cases, which results in impaired immune system function. This can lead to allergies, arthritis, respiratory diseases, skin diseases, etc. and ultimately to cancerous changes.

If the above recommendations are followed, the condition will soon begin to heal, unless the stomach wall that produces gastric acid has suffered severe chronic damage, unfortunately I have such a patient. In such cases, even proper nutrition and correctly given supplements can only bring limited improvement.

The most common cause is the lack of digestion of food. But it can also be caused by inflammation of the gastric mucosa, ulcers, toxic effects, intestinal obstruction, and kidney failure. I will detail the causes of acid vomiting here:

1. The safest and most commonly used method used by veterinarians is hydrogen peroxide. A three percent solution is prepared in the amount of one teaspoon per 5 kilograms of the animal. Pour half a teaspoon into the animal's mouth, and after three minutes, another spoonful. Usually, after the second or third dose, the cat begins to vomit.
2. Emetic root ( Ipekakuana) is another way to induce vomiting. It is available in the pharmacy in the form of a syrup. For an adult cat, it is administered once in the amount of one teaspoon.
3. If you do not have peroxide or emetic root at hand, you can use plain salt. Put a pinch of salt on the back of the animal's tongue. If this does not help, you need to scald the cat with plenty of salt water. Dissolve a tablespoon of salt in a glass and try to water the cat.
Making a dog vomit can be effective within a maximum of 2 hours after consuming the swallowed substance. The simplest method: 3% Hydrogen peroxide solution from the pharmacy. Give it to the dog in a syringe at a rate of 1 ml/1 kg of body weight, so that the dog swallows the entire amount. A dog weighing more than 50 kg should not receive more than 50 ml! After that, the dog will vomit within 15 minutes. If it does not vomit within half an hour, go to the vet.

The symptoms are caused by leaky gut syndrome, which you can read about here: Dog leaky gut syndrome Do not give him food with preservatives, parasite killers, anything that can be absorbed through the intestines and damage the intestinal mucosa and intestinal flora. Keep eliminating the causes listed here, stop eating processed foods completely, and do not give him fast-digesting carbohydrates.

Persistent diarrhea is most often the result of upset intestinal flora and mucosal changes. This is called leaky gut syndrome: Dog leaky gut syndrome
Read the article in the link and apply this package:

Development: Inflammatory processes:
1. Fats produce inflammatory cytokines (Interleukin 1 beta, Tumor necrosis factor alpha, C reactive protein, etc.
2. Consumption of highly oxidized food (not enough antioxidants in food), heat-treated, preserved
3. Cell-damaging effect of toxic substances (this is the most common hidden cause)
4. Microbes

Development of acute inflammation:
Under the influence of cytokines produced by the cyclooxygenase enzyme, inflammatory processes develop throughout the body (skin, respiratory tract, intestinal tract, joints, serous membranes, pancreas, liver, etc.), which can be detected by routine blood and urine tests: liver enzymes increase, azotemia (protein appears in the urine), hematuria (blood appears in the urine), crystalluria (sand appears in the urine) occurs.

Characteristics of active inflammation I. phase:
• increased vascular permeability
• fibrin deposition
• leukocyte influx
• endothelial activation (sprouting of capillaries)
• fibrin modification (by extracellular proteases)
• a scaffold is created for the invasion of the special endothelium
This process leads to damage to the pancreatic cells and digestive enzymes also appear in the blood (amylase, lipase, trypsin).
If this condition persists, chronic pancreatitis develops. In this case, digestive enzymes are not produced properly and digestive disorders develop, resulting in food indigestion. This can be detected by testing the so-called Trypsin-like immunoreactivity level (ILT). Or by testing the stool EPI (digestive enzyme activity) in the stool.
If the inflammation occurs temporarily, then acute pancreatitis occurs, accompanied by vomiting and severe abdominal pain, and self-digestive processes.
Possible treatment: In acute cases, it can be done with a combination of Multivit, Cell Protection, Adrenal support.

Unfortunately, when ascites has already developed, the patient's life prospects are very unfavorable.

There are two main types:

It develops due to inflammation of the liver and changes in the peritoneum, in which case the ascites is rich in protein and inflammatory exudates. The Cell Regenerating I. + Liver detox and Liver support TMG packages, which are often used for the additional treatment of tumors, are used for its treatment.
Blood stasis develops due to circulatory disorders of cardiac origin, or due to kidney excretion disorders, in which case the ascites is serous and does not contain a significant amount of protein. In the latter case, diuretics bring spectacular improvement at the beginning of treatment. Then the kidneys also become exhausted and the condition gets worse and worse, due to the failure to treat the causes and the damaging effect of synthetic diuretics on kidney tissue. For treatment, I recommend the combination of Urinary incontinence, Protective force, Heart power, Krill Omega D3K2 gel.
Immune Strengthening I recommend drugs aimed at alleviating immune system disorders caused by any reason. Preparations that move the cellular and humoral immune response towards balance.
Vaccinations put a lot of strain on the animal's body. The goal in this case is to restore the state of balance, which was caused by increased stress and toxicity caused by preservatives. The recommended drugs will help with this.
Multivit mega C, Protective force, Stomach & Bowel, Defense assist, Chitosan

Treatment protocol for joint and musculoskeletal diseases (arthritis, joint degeneration, herniated discs, autoimmune rheumatic processes, hip dysplasia, tracheal collapse, etc.):
Protocol:
1. PROTECTIVE FORCE 2×1 capsule/10 kg body weight per day

2. CARTILAGE & SPINE BUILDER 2×1 capsule/10 kg body weight per day

3. STOMACH & BOWEL 2×1 capsule/10 kg body weight per day

4. BONE STENGTH & JOINT PROTECTION COMPLEX 2×1 capsule/10 kg body weight per day

5. KRILL OMEGA D3K2 COMPLEX 2×2 pumps/10 kg body weight per day

6. ADRENAL SUPPORT 2×1 capsule/10 kg body weight per day

This combination is can prevent and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal problems:

Contains the substances necessary for the healthy recovery of cartilage, bone and connective tissue (Bone strength &Joint protection complex, Cartilage & Spine builder, Krill Omega D3K2).
Promotes joint mobility (Bone strength &Joint protection complex, Krill Omega D3K2, Protective force, Cartilage & Spine builder)
Anti-inflammatory and analgesic, enhances cartilage and bone structure (Adrenal support, Stomach & Bowel, Protective force),
Promotes the breakdown of formed bone deposits (Krill Omega D3K2, Cartilage & Spine builder).
Supports the rapid regeneration of ligaments, joint capsules and muscles after injuries (Stomach & Bowel, Protective force, Bone strength &Joint protection complex).
It supplies all the musculoskeletal system and other cells of the body with antioxidants, vital unsaturated Omega 3 fatty acids (Krill Omega D3K2, Cartilage & Spine Builder, Protective force).
In acute cases, positive changes can be observed within 1 week, in chronic cases within 1 month.

You can also start taking the capsule preparations with double the dose given in the basic dosage in the first 7-10 days, thus the stores necessary for bone and cartilage building are replenished sooner, so faster improvement is expected.

The dosage of the preparations prescribed in the package should be done together, at the same time, all at once!

We have achieved good results with the listed drugs even in severe conditions. In my experience, the almost epidemic spread of the disease is to be found in the improper nutrition of dogs. This is also accompanied by so-called autoimmune diseases, which create chronic diseases with practically ineffective treatment options. The main cause of the disease is the feeding of feeds that are unbalanced in macroelements, deficient in trace elements, harmful to the intestinal flora, and loaded with toxic products, which can be well maintained with our prescribed products.

First of all, it is necessary to find out what is causing the cough.
There can be several causes of persistent cough, the diagnosis is in parentheses: 1. Heart failure - (heart ultrasound, fatigue on movement) 2. Tracheal collapse - (neck and chest X-ray, the cough intensifies when the trachea is compressed), 3. Gastrointestinal indigestion - (reflux, usually the cough intensifies a few hours after feeding) 4. Asthma - an allergic condition, 5. Persistent bronchitis - a consequence of leaky gut syndrome.
Type 1 heart failure can be treated with this package: Heart Failure Package

Type 3 can be treated with this: Digestive Organs Package

Type 4 and 5 can be treated with the treatment of leaky gut syndrome, you can check it out here: Dog Leaky Gut Syndrome
In this case, we perform this treatment: Digestive Organs Package
But as a bridging solution, this package also helps: Respiratory Diseases Package

Possible causes of tearing:
Epiphora is caused by excessive tear production or inadequate tear drainage. The underlying causes include:
• Blockage of the tear duct, which drains excess tears from the eye to the nose. The blockage can be caused by a congenital defect in the duct, inflammation and debris within the duct, or tumors blocking the duct.
• The unique structure of flat-headed breeds, such as the Persian, which causes poor tear drainage.
• Infections affecting the eye, such as the herpes virus, which can often cause tearing on one side.
• Allergy
• Conjunctivitis

The cause of persistent respiratory symptoms is not mysterious, they have only tried to influence them in a place where permanent results cannot be achieved, only to temporarily suppress the symptoms.

The symptoms are caused by leaky gut syndrome, which you can read about here: Dog leaky gut syndrome
The treatment should start from the basics. Abandon all chemicals that the dog or cat may have received so far. Switch its feeding to unprocessed, grain-free nutrition. The foods also contain preservatives and antioxidants with antibiotic effects, which damage the sensitive intestinal mucosa. Unfortunately, kittens also take over the burden from their parents and are born saturated with toxic deposits, which cause the symptoms. Start using the following package: Digestive System Package
For immediate help, use the Respiratory System Package and Adrenal Support. Rinse your eyes with a solution made from Chitosan capsules.

The state of the intestinal flora is a fundamental depository of the health of dogs and cats. This is of course the case with other mammals as well, and humans are no exception. The inhabitants of the intestinal flora of dogs are ten times more numerous than all the living cells in the dog's body. 70-80% of the cells of their immune system function in the intestines and lymph nodes. This also shows the invaluable role of the intestinal flora cells in maintaining the health of animals.

What are the most important tasks of a healthy intestinal microflora:
It produces several types of vitamins (B vitamins, vitamin K)
It helps in the absorption of micro and trace elements from the intestine
It regulates the so-called cellular immunity linked to T cells
The healthy intestinal microflora produces fatty acids, which strengthen the defense line of the intestinal wall,

What happens when the balance of the intestinal flora is upset?
When the fatty acids of the healthy intestinal flora are lacking, so-called dysbiosis occurs and the intestinal wall is damaged and inflamed due to the overgrowth of pathological bacteria and fungi and the entry of their harmful metabolic by-products into the intestine, which leads to the so-called leaky gut syndrome.
The closure of the intestinal wall cells (enterocytes) loosens, and through the microscopic gaps that form, bacteria, fungi and partially undigested food begin to leak into the bloodstream.
Proteins should not enter the bloodstream; they should be broken down into amino acids so that the liver can use them to build its own proteins. Instead, undigested protein fragments enter the bloodstream, which the immune system sees as foreign proteins and begins to defend against them. It wants to neutralize them, which leads to inflammation throughout the body, due to the local release of histamine from mast cells. These chronic inflammations cause itchy skin symptoms. This process is worsened by the overgrowth of yeast in the gut and throughout the body, as discussed earlier.
These two processes (yeast overgrowth and leaky gut syndrome) can be present separately or simultaneously in the background of the symptoms.

What factors lead to the destruction of beneficial intestinal flora and the colonization of pathological intestinal flora:
Antibiotics, which kill all bacteria, leaving only the resistant ones untouched, and these are the very creators of pathological flora
Anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs, synthetic antiparasitic agents, because they inhibit the growth of beneficial intestinal flora bacteria
Steroids, inhibit proper intestinal functions, which leads to the proliferation of pathological flora
Vaccines, -among other benefits- inhibit proper immune defense and also damage the beneficial flora
Synthetic antiparasitic agents, whether administered in the form of drops, sprays or tablets
Stress effects, loss of a family member, prolonged loneliness inhibit the necessary immune defense against members of the pathological flora
Dietary errors, pre-processed, treated food and high carbohydrate content and rapidly absorbed carbohydrates consumption
Dairy products, GMO-containing food, feeding colored, chlorinated, hydrogenated products

Symptoms of leaky gut syndrome:
Behavioral problems (dog's intestinal bacteria affect the state of the brain through the endocrine and hormonal systems)
Certain types of epilepsy
Allergic symptoms (skin symptoms, itching, yeast infection, respiratory allergies, asthma)
Persistent, recurrent inflammation of the upper and lower respiratory tract
Most cases of external auditory canal inflammation
Any form of autoimmune diseases
Joint, locomotor disorders (twitching, sprain, paralysis)
Trachea collapse and laryngeal paralysis
Liver, gallbladder and pancreas diseases
Thyroid problems (under- and over-functioning)
Nervous system symptoms and vision problems
Inflammatory bowel diseases
Heart diseases
Leukemias
Tumors diseases
Yeast overgrowth usually precedes and even leads to the symptoms of leaky gut syndrome. Therefore, it is important to treat yeast overgrowth in a timely manner.

Treatment of leaky gut syndrome (helps soothe irritated intestinal walls and restore beneficial intestinal flora):
Kefir or raw live yogurt
Bone broth (Proline, glycine, glucosamine, collagen, BONE STRENGTH & JOINT PROTECTION complex)
Providing OMEGA-3 essential fatty acids (KRILL OMEGA D3+K2 gel)
Anti-inflammatory and detoxifying herbs (CHITOSAN capsule)
Providing antioxidants and vitamins (MULTIVIT MEGA C complex)
Kidney and liver supporting herbs (STOMACH & BOWEL, LIVER DETOX, LIVER SUPPORT TMG)
Stomach digestion support (STOMACH DIGESTIVE HELPER)
Probiotics, prebiotics (DIGESTIVE ENZYMES & PROBIOTICS complex)
Antifungal treatment
Coconut oil
Ginger
Licorice

A commonly used combination for the treatment of leaky gut syndrome: DIGESTIVE ENZYMES & PROBIOTICS complex, STOMACH & BOWEL, BONE STRENGTH & JOINT PROTECTION complex, CHITOSAN or the Dog and cat diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, inflammation of the olfactory gland, hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism supplemental treatment package

And for the proper treatment of skin symptoms, this package is: Dog and cat skin diseases, allergy supplemental treatment package

How long should we use the Diarrhea Vomiting package?

If the leaky gut syndrome is revealed due to allergic symptoms, then complete intestinal regeneration is particularly important, so a 3-month treatment is recommended. In the meantime, from the beginning of the cure, I recommend a complete replacement of the feed fed until then. During the treatment, the dog's intestinal system should not be exposed to any new toxic effects, because then everything can start all over again. If the leaky gut has fully healed, it will take another 3 months for the body to lose its tendency to react to allergens. This means that after waiting 3 months, you can return to your usual diet, but only with caution.

Viral diseases of cats. The given preparations can be used for the prevention and supplementary treatment of viral FIV, FLV, FCV, FHV diseases. Treatments with the given agents are effective due to the restoration of the immune system and digestion and the treatment of the toxic state. It is not the virus that should be dealt with, but what factors may have weakened the kitten's immune system, which may have caused the virus to appear in it. This is the only way to recover. Diarrhea can show the direction. This may be in the background: Dog leaky gut syndrome
Read this carefully and change those factors that are not right in the kitten's life now. Change the diet to unprocessed, rapidly decomposing carbohydrates, eliminate all synthetic chemical intake, treat the intestinal flora, which helps restore healthy intestinal function. I recommend this package: Digestive system package
which Guardian should also supplement with a worming product. Furthermore, the formation of the leukemia virus is inhibited with the Defense assist capsule.
When we experience an improvement in appetite due to steroids, it refers to general inflammatory phenomena. We should not resort to long-term steroid use, because it can lead to adrenal exhaustion and we will experience many complications. This problem is usually caused by chemical poisoning, which is usually caused by coloring and preservative substances in processed foods. FIV usually becomes positive when immunity is disrupted and the weakening of cellular immunity is accompanied by an excessive strengthening of humoral immunity. This causes inflammatory symptoms. Steroid administration usually brings improvement, but it does not restore the upset balance, it only improves the symptoms and an apparent change occurs, which later leads to an even stronger weakening of cellular immunity. This leads to parasites, bacterial and fungal infections. The solution lies in strengthening cellular immunity. Our products Liver detox, Cell protection, Protective force, Cartilage & Spine Builder can help with this. But this can be eliminated by stopping the intake of additional toxic substances (preservatives, solvents, dyes, metals, etc.) and by eliminating rapidly decomposing carbohydrates that cause inflammation from the diet. This is also helped by therapy that supports the restoration of the intestinal flora.

An increase in liver values is clear evidence of persistent systemic inflammation. But the long-term or even occasional intake of toxic substances also contributes. By stopping the intake of additional toxic substances (preservatives, solvents, dyes, metals, etc.) and eliminating rapidly decomposing carbohydrates that cause inflammation from the diet, further deterioration can be prevented. You can achieve this by changing your diet, administering antioxidants and natural anti-inflammatories, as well as normalizing intestinal digestion and stabilizing the intestinal flora. For this, first use this: Digestive organs package
Furthermore, replace your current diet in this way: By giving unprocessed food that does not contain any starch or rapidly decomposing carbohydrates. Not cooked to death, only scalded or raw meat, 80%-90% meat (lean meat, cartilage, offal) and 10-20% cooked fibrous vegetables (zucchini, pumpkin, carrots, sweet potatoes, etc.)

In cases of unhealthy fur and skin conditions, greasy, unpleasant-smelling fur, the so-called Malassezia yeast overgrowth may be the cause. Causes, symptoms and treatment of dog skin diseases

Yeast infections in dogs and cats

Yeast is part of the normal microflora of all dogs, cats (and humans). The most common types of yeast in dogs are Malassezia and Candida. These yeasts live in small colonies on the dog's skin, ears and intestines, alongside healthy bacteria and other mainly beneficial components. The small cells of the beneficial intestinal flora are present in the body in 10x greater numbers than all the cells in the dog's own body and play an important role in the proper functioning of the immune system. These healthy intestinal flora components must be protected. Antibiotics and other chemicals (drugs, vaccines), processed and genetically modified food ingredients have an adverse effect on this flora, which upsets the balance and the yeasts that were previously present in small numbers can multiply.

These harmful yeasts multiply in large numbers in the intestines, on the skin, and in the ear canal, especially if their main food source is starch and sugars present in the animal's food.

What symptoms occur when yeasts overgrow?
Feet chewing and/or licking
Dark, rusty red hair between the toes, which is due to fungi and not from licking
Hair loss, dark skin, especially in hairless areas (belly, armpits)
Small black dots on the lower abdomen, grayish discoloration around the genitals.
Ear scratching, head shaking, inflammatory discharge in the ear canal
Cyclic symptoms that appear in the spring and last until the fall. Often confused with pollen allergies and other spring and summer symptoms.
A sweet, pervasive body odor and greasy fur (seborrhea), often with severe dandruff. This is an active fungal infection of the hair follicles.
Hair loss at the base of the tail and on the back
The longer a dog yeast infection persists, the more difficult it will be to resolve, so it is important to notice these early signs.

Treatment of yeast diseases:
Remove starches and sugars from the diet.
Since yeast infections begin in the intestines, one of the first steps is to suppress the yeast. To do this, the dog's diet must be examined. Yeasts require simple and complex sugars to survive. So, these must be removed from the diet so that they are no longer fed. Wheat, corn, potatoes, rice, peas, sweet potatoes and beans are examples of foods with a high starch content.

In the wild, the foods that dogs’ ancestors ate contained a maximum of 4% starch. Today’s diets contain many times that amount.

Avoid processed or chemically contaminated foods
Most processed pet foods contain genetically modified ingredients that are harmful to healthy gut flora. The most common GMO foods are beets, alfalfa, corn, soy and cabbage. The number of chemicals is significant, so they should be avoided at all levels because they have the effect of damaging, or at least disrupting, the beneficial gut flora.

Rebuilding a healthy, balanced gut flora
Many different species of bacteria live in your dog’s intestines and skin, and they are essential for your dog. They produce vitamins and fatty acids, help break down nutrients, and regulate yeast populations, preventing their overgrowth. We can restore the dog's beneficial bacteria populations by supplementing their diet with high-quality probiotics and prebiotics. The two most important probiotics are Lactobacillus acidophylus and Enterococcus faecium, and the prebiotics are inulin and Chlorella algae.

A good option for restoring the intestinal flora is to use the DIGESTIVE ENZYMES & PROBIOTICS complex, which also ensures proper stomach and intestinal digestion thanks to its broad-spectrum digestive enzymes. In addition, you don't have to worry about stomach acid damaging your sprouts because it contains stomach acid-resistant strains.

For carnivores, I also use the Digestive Enzymes & Probiotics complex as a probiotic and a source of raw fiber. Start with just a pinch mixed into transition soups per meal. To avoid detoxification reactions, probiotic foods should be introduced gradually. There is a reaction that can manifest itself in dogs and cats as lethargy, weakness, and even diarrhea, as the body has to deal with the elimination of dead bacteria and yeasts (Candida) and the purification of toxins associated with them. This is similar to a hangover. Gradual adjustment to the therapeutic dose over a period of about a week will safely prevent this symptom.

The main cornerstone of disease prevention and control is the removal of toxic metabolic products that enter or are produced in the animal's body. These processes are assisted by the following effective detoxification agents.

SEE also the POISONING submenu item for details.

Detoxification package

The basis of protection against poisoning is the binding and removal of toxic substances entering the animal's body. This process is assisted by the effective detoxifying agents given here. They also help the regeneration processes of the intestinal flora after poisoning.

The toxins behind poisoning can come from many areas. Often their effect only becomes noticeable secondarily from the dysfunction of the organs they damage.

For example, bone marrow-damaging toxins - can cause anemia

kidney-damaging substances in small doses - can cause chronic renal failure

intestinal mucosa-damaging leaky gut syndrome, etc.

The most common toxins that we would not even think of harming are:

Feed preservatives, synthetic antioxidants, synthetic drugs, synthetic anti-parasitic agents, whether orally, spot on, or in the form of sprays or powders, vaccines and preservatives, all forms of plant protection products (insecticides, fungicides, herbicides), essential oils, fungal toxins (Fusarium toxins, F2 T2, ochratoxin, aflatoxin, etc.), which contaminate feed and are very dangerous, etc.

..

• It develops more often in middle-aged and neutered dogs.
• It is common in dogs and contributes to the development of allergy-like symptoms.
• Autoimmune origin is also common, when foreign proteins similar to thyroid proteins enter the body due to leaky gut syndrome, causing the immune system to attack its own thyroid gland, as it mistakenly identifies it as a foreign substance. This is autoimmunity. The most common cause of this is the so-called leaky gut syndrome, which results in the animal's body producing antibodies that can damage the thyroid gland's own cells, so they are unable to produce the necessary thyroid hormones in adequate quantities.
Signs of hypothyroidism:
• Since hypothyroidism has a significant effect on all organs and the immune system, it leads to chronic inflammation and hypersensitivity of the skin.
• Ear infections
• Nail inflammation
• Thin, thinning hair
• Black skin patches
• Thinning, non-inflammatory skin
• Overweight
• Muscle wasting
• Lack of energy
The diagnosis is made based on symptoms and blood tests. Free T4 and TSH hormone levels should be tested.
Treatment options:
• administration of synthetic hormones (L-thyroxine)
• treatment and prevention of leaky gut syndrome, which you can read about here: Dog, cat leaky gut syndrome
• gentle methods to restore the balance of the hormonal system (Protective force, Liver Detox, Krill Omega D3K2 gel)
• Administration of iodine in organic bonds (Digestive enzymes & probiotic complex)
• Regeneration of intestinal flora (Digestive enzymes & probiotic complex, Stomach & Bowel)
• Administration of selenium in organic bonds (Multivit Mega C)
• Preparations that can be used in one package to treat the symptoms of leaky gut syndrome: Digestive organs (stomach and intestinal system) package
• Elimination of the chemical bisphenol A, which is formed during the heating of plastic bottles and enters liquids
• Strong reduction of starch, sugars, soy in the diet, which can reduce the level of estrogens produced in the dog's body so that it does not inhibit the synthesis of thyroid hormones.

Also called thyrotoxicosis, it is caused by an increase in the production of thyroid hormones (T3 and T4) from the enlarged thyroid gland in the neck of dogs and cats. In most cases, this is caused by a so-called adenoma. But in rare cases, it can also be caused by malignant adenocarcinoma.
Most often, it is a disease of cats, but it is not uncommon in dogs.

Cause: Hyperthyroidism is triggered by Anti TSH receptor antibodies formed during intestinal inflammation due to leaky gut syndrome. Preventing their formation is the main task to achieve any results.
With this package, you can use the preparations that improve the condition of the intestine and reduce the persistent inflammatory state there and can reduce the production of Anti TSH receptor antibodies.

Symptoms: The most common clinical symptoms are weight loss, voracious appetite, increased thirst and frequent urination.

Symptoms of chronic renal failure are often present at the same time.

Vomiting and diarrhea can also be among the symptoms, which are actually symptoms of leaky gut syndrome. The coat of sick animals may be dull and matted.

Diagnosis: Enlarged thyroid gland. Increased heart rate and blood pressure. Weight loss despite a wolf diet. Increased thyroid hormone levels of T3, T4. We get a more accurate picture if we measure the so-called Free T4 level in the blood, because it shows the level of thyroid hormone that can actually be used by the cells.

Treatment: Naturally with treatments aimed at eliminating leaky gut syndrome.

For prevention against intestinal worms (tapeworms and roundworms), roundworms (Giardia), lungworms, heartworm larvae, we also use GUARDIAN capsules for prevention and therapy against all worms. To prevent babesiosis, the use of Strong Immune supplements may be considered. It is important to note that these products contain only natural ingredients to achieve a repellent effect, so they do not provide 100% protection, but they greatly reduce the chance of infection. They also contribute to the animal's own immune system providing an adequate level of protection, which it contributes to by not blocking these vital cellular immunity processes.

I have found that almost all dogs recover completely without surgery while using the package and do not relapse as long as it is used for prevention. It speeds up the recovery of some of the dogs that have undergone surgery, it can only help others after a long-term treatment of several months, and it does not bring long-term recovery to a significant number of dogs. But these owners start using the package when they have tried all other methods and they have not had any results, especially after surgery, they want help, but the dog does not stand up, even with the help of the package. Many owners describe their cases of using this package and recovering without surgery and remaining symptom-free in the long term from the use of the package. I wrote about this package: Dog musculoskeletal diseases (6)

In the case of already developed herniated discs, it is recommended to maintain the treatment for 6 months, then a 3-week course once every two months is enough to prevent relapse.
For all of our products, take a 4-7 day break after 3 weeks of use, but it is not necessary to stop all of them at once, you can take a break one after the other, that is, stop only one product at a time, then the other and so on.
There is a method to ensure that the break occurs and that continuity is maintained and there is no relapse. Leave only one product at a time, give the others for 5 days, then give the one you missed again and leave another, etc. This way, there is always one in the rotation that you miss and there will be no relapse in the condition.

Unfortunately, there is no fully proven treatment for portosystemic shunt. BUT there are alternative ways to help with symptoms:
-Improve the detoxification functions of the liver.
-Reduce elevated liver enzymes.
-Increase the amount of blood flowing through the normal liver lobes. (not by further increasing blood pressure, but by vasodilating effect)
-Support the absorption of ascites by increasing local blood pressure
-Increase the production of nitric oxide in the liver, which leads to local vasodilation in the liver vessels
-Slow down the accumulation of white blood cells in the liver tissues, which can lead to local inflammation
-Inhibit fibrosis, which can lead to cirrhosis of the remaining liver tissue
-Increase blood flow through the liver, which is possible by increasing the number of red blood cells

These effects can be achieved with the following package: Detoxification package, which is supplemented with Digestive Enzymes & Probiotics and Urine Incontinence.

The active hormone testosterone is necessary in sufficient quantity for the healthy functioning of the prostate.
Testosterone is converted into a hormone called dihydrotestosterone, which is inactive and acts as if the body does not have enough testosterone in the body. Active testosterone is present in decreasing amounts with age. In males, progesterone is also produced from cholesterol in the adrenal glands and testicles, but its amount also decreases with age, although progesterone inhibits the conversion of inactive testosterone to the active form.
Active testosterone is also converted into estradiol in the testicles and adrenal glands, which is especially bad for males, because estrogens are hormones that induce cell proliferation.
In other words
1. Testosterone production must be increased. Kingvet (due to its content in Fenugreek root), King Melon (tribulus terestris), Shilajit.
2. inhibit the conversion of testosterone to an inactive form: Progesterone, Astaxanthin, Saw Palmetto
3. inhibit the conversion of testosterone to estradiol, thereby increasing active testosterone levels: Astaxanthin, Ganoderma mushroom, Quercetin (grape seed extract), Broccoli extract (Indole 3 carbinol), Zinc, Melatonin, Passion flower extract (Passion fruit chrysin content)
4. increase natural progesterone levels, which plays a role in counterbalancing estrogens: progesterone cream, Ashwaganda

The following active ingredients can be used for prostate enlargement:
– Melon (Tribulus terrestris)
– Saw Palmetto (Serenea repens)
– Krill Oil (Astaxanthin)
– Ganoderma
– Grape seed extract
– Passion fruit extract
– Progesterone cream (applied to the dog's belly)
– zinc

Retinal detachment and unsteady gait can be caused by high blood pressure, which is usually associated with kidney failure or vascular stenosis. Relax & Balance contains vasodilating herbs that lower blood pressure, so I recommend treating the patient with it in addition to the preparations already described (Multivit, Krill,). Also, when the next blood test is performed, check the SDMA value, which shows the real kidney function. If this also shows a difference, then Renal Support is also recommended, a combination that lowers blood pressure and supports the kidneys.

But I would add that there were other times when the same tear diagnosis as yours was diagnosed and after 3 months of using the Musculoskeletal Package, the patients were completely healed… After 3 months, the dog used its injured leg, which had been in the air until then, overnight.

Maintaining a balanced state of intestinal flora and proper detoxification of the liver, as well as maintaining the production of digestive enzymes at the appropriate level, solves most digestive disorders. A diet lacking in fiber is often the main cause of constipation. The recommended supplements help to solve these.

Dry eye disease is of autoimmune origin. It is also associated with a slowdown in peripheral circulation, which, if increased with Protective Force capsules and treated with leaky gut syndrome in parallel, can improve the condition and slow down the deterioration. It is necessary to rinse the eyes and conjunctiva with a solution made from Chitosan capsules locally. Adrenal support can also be useful in reducing inflammation when taken orally.

Dog and cat heart disease
Heart problems are becoming more common in both dogs and cats these days. Even young animals can be affected due to genetic reasons.
There are two main forms of heart disease:

The first is the form that leads to heart failure due to weakness and partial necrosis of the heart muscle, which leads to dilated cardiomyopathy.
Heart valves can also become incompetent, congenitally or acquired, due to endocarditis or calcification.
Both forms, dilated cardiomyopathy and heart valve insufficiency, also lead to heart failure. Heart valve insufficiency mainly affects small dogs and cats. The closure defect occurs in the so-called bicuspid valve of the left ventricle, which leads to increased blood pressure in the lungs, which, if it persists for a long time, leads to blood stasis in the lungs and the release of serum, which causes coughing and later suffocation. Auscultation, cardiac ultrasound, X-ray examination and ECG examination can provide clues for the diagnosis of heart disease.

Dilatation of the heart is mainly a disease of large dogs. Its diagnosis is made in the ways already described above.

Symptoms and treatment of heart disease in dogs and cats
The symptoms of heart disease are listlessness, fatigue that occurs quickly when moving, difficulty breathing, dry cough that occurs during exertion, and later occurs at rest.

Treatment is with the administration of active ingredients that stimulate the work of the heart, diuretics (Caution! Certain types can significantly damage the liver and kidneys!). It can be done with active ingredients that reduce digestion and the toxic load of the body, and with vascular wall regenerating preparations.

To increase the strength of the heart, Heart power and Relax & Balance. You can treat edematous conditions in the following way: Adrenal support (for adrenal support) + Renal support (for water excretion).

Causes of fur loss:

Hormonal (Cushing's disease, diabetes, hypothyroidism)
Circumscribed, non-itchy hairless patch - filamentous fungal infection
Developing after neutering: testosterone -male, estrogen deficiency -female
Trace element and vitamin deficiency - intestinal absorption disorders, or lack of intake, inadequate nutrition
Allergic dermatitis, associated with itching, scratching, licking
Psychological background, fear, anxiety, strong stress effects, or long-term stress
Hair loss resulting from toxic effects, which rids the body of toxins (e.g. heavy metals, pesticides, fungal toxins, etc.)
Animals kept indoors may shed all year round, which is normal

About Heartworm, in Brief
• Heartworm is caused by a type of nematode called Dirofilaria Immitis, which lives in the large blood vessels of the lungs, and in advanced cases in the heart.
• Due to climate change, more and more cases are diagnosed every year, so annual screening tests are very important.
• The heartworm larvae are spread by mosquitoes, so even dogs kept indoors are not safe.
• The infection can be asymptomatic for years
• Getting rid of already developed heartworms is a long, energy- and money-consuming procedure, and it is also a risky intervention, so great emphasis should be placed on prevention.

• The adult female worm releases tiny, microscopic microfilariae into the dog's blood.
• The microfilariae are passed on to mosquitoes that feed on dogs, where they develop into third-stage larvae over a period of weeks.
• Mosquitoes carrying third-stage larvae inject the larvae into the dog's body during their next bite.
• Third-stage larvae and microfilariae can still be killed with drops and tablets used for prevention.
• The third-stage larva in the dog's body (if it is not protected against heartworm) develops into fourth-stage larvae in approximately 4 weeks, which are no longer affected by the drugs used for prevention.
• If the dog is not protected, the fourth-stage larva develops further, becomes an adult within months, and begins to produce microfilariae.
Prevention
• Heartworm disease can be prevented with monthly tablets or certain types of drops that kill the third-stage larvae and microfilariae.
• If protection is not regular, weeks or months are missed, the already vaccinated third-stage larvae will develop further into a stage that is no longer affected by preventive preparations.
• It is very important to strive for monthly regularity and also to have an annual screening test.

Evaluation of screening tests:
• During the screening tests, one ml of blood is taken from the animal, from which the so-called KNOTT test and the ELISA antigen test are also performed.
• If either test is positive, your animal is not yet certain to have heartworms, further tests are needed to prove it.
• If both tests are positive, your dog is most likely to have heartworms.
Evaluation of the rapid test (ELISA-serological test): if positive, then unfortunately heartworm disease is suspected. In this case, it is advisable to have an additional test, the PCR test, performed, which will clarify the result. If the serology test is positive, but the knott test is negative, then occult heartworm disease is suspected (i.e. there is probably a worm, but it is not multiplying). In this case, the PCR test does not make much sense (because it tests the DNA of the microfilariae, see later), so in this case, the test is repeated with a test from another manufacturer. If the additional tests are also positive, then unfortunately the dog has heartworm…

That is, it is very likely not infected. But the ELISA rapid test (which was positive) must be repeated to be sure of its exclusion.

SEE ALSO THE DESCRIBED IN THE CASE OF DIABETES!!

According to some reports in the USA, at least 59% of dogs are overweight or extremely obese, while 39% of owners believe that their dog does not have weight problems.

As in humans, being overweight reduces the quality of life and reduces lifespan in dogs. Obese dogs are more likely to suffer from circulatory (e.g. heart failure, high blood pressure), respiratory, endocrine (e.g. type 2 diabetes, pancreatitis), orthopedic (e.g. frequent joint injuries, hip dysplasia, changes in the jaw) diseases, but chronic inflammatory conditions and certain types of cancer (e.g. abdominal tumors) can also be associated with being overweight.

However, losing weight for dogs does not mean giving them less of their usual food, because this not only reduces the calories they consume, but also the amount of all vital nutrients, especially proteins, which leads to a protein deficiency and muscle breakdown.

But before we start trying to lose weight on our dog, it is advisable to have it examined by a veterinarian.

What is needed to lose weight?

Many people ask me if their dog, who is so many months old, currently weighs so many kg. I think it is fat. It would be difficult to say this based on age and weight alone; it is much more informative to examine the presence and thickness of fatty tissue on the ribs (body condition score – BCS). There are two scales on the market for this examination, one with 5 and the other with 9 levels, 5 can be found HERE and 9 HERE.

From the BCS measurement, we can determine how much excess fat the dog has and what percentage of excess weight this represents compared to the ideal body weight.

First step: determining the ideal body weight

If we know how much our dog weighed before it became obese, this value should be the ideal weight.

If you don't know, you can determine it using the following method:

Determine your dog's BCS
Determine its overweight based on the BCS.
Subtract the overweight from the current weight.
All this in practice: On the five-point BCS scale, the value 3 is the base. If the result of our measurement is greater than 3, it means 10% overweight per half point. (On the 9-point scale, 5 is the base, each point above this means 10%.) So, if your dog's BCS is 5, then we have to calculate a 40% overweight, i.e. we get its ideal weight by subtracting 40% from its current weight. (For example, our dog weighs 40 kg and has a BCS of 5, then its ideal weight is 24 kg.)

Unfortunately, some dogs are so fat that the BCS scale is not sufficient to determine their overweight. In such cases, the ideal weight is inevitably overestimated, but this is not a problem at first. The calculations can be done again once the weight loss has started.

Second step: reducing calorie intake

As I have already mentioned, it is not enough to simply give less of the previous diet. You need to reduce the calorie intake in a way that the dog still receives the vital amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, and trace elements. So, first, you need to write down what the dog eats, including snacks, treats, and begging (this will also help you assess what caused it to gain most of its fat mass), and then you need to calculate how many calories it consumes per day.

The amount of reduction is relatively easy to calculate for dogs whose weight has stabilized at a certain level. In this case, you need to reduce the calories consumed by 20% as a starting point.

Another method is to determine the so-called resting energy requirement (RER). RER is the amount of energy required for the body's basic functions (e.g. brain and heart function). This is not the same as the so-called metabolizable energy requirement, abbreviated as MER.

Calculation: RER = 70*ideal BW0.75 (kcal/day).

Even with minimal excess weight, weight loss can be initiated if you receive a calorie amount corresponding to your RER.

In case of greater weight gain: as a starting point, we determine the daily energy intake at 80% of the RER amount, this is usually effective and is still well tolerated by dogs.

Third step: Composing the diet

The point in summary: high protein, moderate fat, low fiber and minimal CH intake.

Perhaps the most important step in composing a weight loss diet (or choosing the right food) is to calculate whether the daily ration contains sufficient protein. This can be done in four steps:

First, the daily calorie requirement for weight loss must be calculated.
We must calculate how many g of protein are in a unit, i.e. 1000 calories.
Next, we calculate how many g of protein our dog needs at an ideal weight (according to NRC data, based on ideal body weight, the dog's daily protein requirement is >2.5 g/kg).
From the results of points 1 and 2, calculate how many grams of protein are in the amount of food/home-made food that meets your dog's energy needs. If this is more than the amount calculated in point 3, then it is OK. If it is less, your dog is not getting enough protein.
The high protein content – at least 28%, according to other sources at least 30% – ensures satiety and prevents muscle breakdown. Protein digestibility deteriorates in older dogs, so MCS should be monitored more closely in their case and protein intake should be increased if necessary.

But what is MCS? In addition to BCS, muscle condition score (MCS) should also be monitored during consumption to see if weight loss is due to a decrease in fat tissue, not a decrease in muscle mass. You can read about determining MCS HERE.

The fat content also influences the dog's feeling of satiety, with too low a fat intake the dog will be constantly hungry. For dogs on a diet, it should be between 11-15%, with a high protein content.

A good diet for weight loss has a fiber content of less than 5%. Fiber is nothing more than indigestible CH, too much of which can impair the absorption of nutrients, and the dog does not feel full from it.

It is a common misconception that a large portion of low-calorie vegetables will fill the dog's stomach, so it will not be hungry. However, to drive away the feeling of hunger, it is not ballast that is needed, but some fat and a large portion of protein.

When calculating the amount of calories consumed, always include the amount of regular daily reward snacks, the amount of which should not exceed 10% of the daily calorie intake.

Step Four: Determining the Number of Feedings

A sudden reduction in the amount of food will upset the dog, making him constantly hungry, and we can't stand to see him suffer, and we've already started a diet. In addition, what applies to dogs is what applies to humans: a sudden, significantly reduced calorie intake upsets the metabolism, and it's harder to lose weight. In addition, if we suddenly and completely change his diet, it can lead to temporary digestive disorders and diarrhea.

So, reduce the amounts gradually, by 5% per week, until we reach the target amount. The optimal monthly weight loss is 1% per week, or 3-5% per month.

We don't give the daily amount all at once, but in at least 2 parts.

Step Five: Exercise

If your dog is fat, he's probably not getting enough exercise. In the case of significant overweight, the principle of gradualness should be followed here too, starting with short walks several times a day. As a starting point, this should be three times a day, for 5 minutes each time, which should be gradually increased to at least 40 minutes a day. However, this should not be a jog, but a faster walk. (According to a veterinary publication, a dog burns 1.1 kcal/kg/km of calories with a moderate-paced walk (10 min/km). It has also been observed that the average owner covers 1 km more slowly, in 12-15 minutes, which is considered slow.)

Be careful not to overload joints that may already be painful, but dogs with arthritis also need exercise! Exercise not only burns more calories, the strengthened muscles also increase the stability of the joints. If you can, let them swim, which is gentle on the joints.

Dogs with healthy joints can be easily exercised in a short time by playing ball, fetching, or frisbee. (They run around a lot, while we don't get tired!)

If you can't get your dog to move at all, it's most likely a sign of a more serious problem, so head to the vet.

Checking and correcting

Calculating the amount of calories needed for weight loss is only a starting point, and many circumstances (e.g. individual metabolism, daily exercise, housing conditions, age, external temperature) influence whether it is necessary to deviate from this in any direction. To determine this, the dog's weight should be measured weekly or biweekly, from which the rate of weight loss can be calculated. In addition, the MCS and BCS should be measured and corrected taking into account the changes. However, the daily calorie intake can be reduced to a maximum of 60% of the RER amount, less than this can cause malnutrition and clinical symptoms.

If the dog does not lose weight even with a calorie intake corresponding to the RER, there may be a health problem behind it, e.g. low thyroid function, diabetes, Cushing's disease, pancreatic tumor (insulinoma), so a thorough veterinary examination is recommended in all such cases.

Master, I'm hungry!

Your dog will protest the reduced portions! He will pretend to be starving, he will sob, beg, and beg. Don't give in to him! A good way is to distract him from his craving for food, e.g. comb him (if he likes it), start playing with him, take him for a walk, and if we have already done all this and your dear teddy bear still wants to starve, we can give him some carrots, zucchini, or apples.

If he is losing weight very slowly and is constantly hungry, you need to redesign his diet. You can slightly increase the fat intake and the amount of protein.

The milder form of anemia is often discovered when veterinarians perform a routine blood test for some other reason. The cause can be traced back to several things. The cause is rare due to iron deficiency. More common is a hematopoietic disorder that develops due to a persistent toxic effect on the bone marrow, as a blood-forming organ. This is why it is treated with drugs that act on the bone marrow, detoxifying it, and agents that regenerate the intestinal flora.

Showing the single result

These symptoms are caused by persistent digestive disorders and he probably has developed leaky gut syndrome. You can read more about this here: Leaky Gut Syndrome in Dogs

For treatment, follow the guidelines given here and use this package: Digestive Organs Package

Fecal eating can be caused by the following reasons: Trace element deficiency, hunger, upset intestinal flora. In most cases, it is caused by the last one. The dog can also absorb good intestinal flora from feces, but if he eats his own, it can only be of poor quality, since the reflex has been triggered to consume it if it is not suitable. This often develops beforehand: Leaky Gut Syndrome in Dogs

I recommend that you eliminate all foreign substances from your dog's life so as not to damage his intestinal flora. Use this package:

The cause of its formation is the inflammation at the body level and the accumulation of toxins and waste products in the body. Bacteria multiply on the excreted sediment and protein breakdown products and the pH of the urine also changes. This aggravates the local inflammation of the bladder. We use this for treatment:

You can find the treatment protocol for chronic kidney failure here: Kidney failure treatment protocol
And the package used for this disease here: Chronic kidney failure package
IMPORTANT!!! The treatment protocol specifies feeding in small portions 6 times a day, you must adhere to this in order to normalize the level of protein breakdown products in the blood! The methods of administering the medicine can be as follows: Treating cats with Supreme Immunity preparations:

All Supreme Immunity capsule preparations can be opened and administered in powder form, or mixed with their favorite food, liquid and administered as such. For cats that like cream, we can also mix the preparation into it, or we can also use honey cream. There are cats that consume the capsule preparations in powder form by sprinkling them on their usual food.

It is also a good option – even for cats that do not feed themselves – to mix the necessary preparations into a pulp made from raw meat. Which can be administered to your pets from a syringe.

It is also possible to order the following powder – which has a very pleasant taste for cats – and mix the contents of the capsules with it, which also flavors their food and makes them accept unusual flavors more favorably: YUMMY PET Food Flavoring
When all the methods listed above have been tried, we can use the mini capsule method (“4” size capsule Gelatin capsule for easier drug administration). This is especially sensitive, or when it comes to large sick animals that refuse all other methods or are in a terminal state. In this case, we drop and sprinkle the drops and powders to be administered into a small gelatin capsule, then administer it to the patient with tweezers or a flexible-ended capsule dispenser (Capsule dispenser). This significantly reduces the level of resistance and allows us to safely administer the necessary supplements without the risk of causing injury.
In fact, a healthy state in the case of chronic renal failure means that it is asymptomatic.

In the case of chronic renal failure (significant deterioration of the kidney's filtration capacity and increased blood pressure), it is necessary to give the Renal support capsule and the renal failure package.
It increases the kidney's filtration capacity and reduces the resulting high blood pressure even in the case of damaged glomeruli, thus allowing the animal to consume food with a higher protein content without the appearance of protein toxicity symptoms.

In the case of acute or semi-acute renal failure, anti-inflammatory preparations are needed, in which case the use of Renal support will not help. It does not cause any damage, but it does not have a beneficial effect either. In such cases, the use of Urine tract, Protective force, Cartilage, Urinary incontinence preparations is useful.
Many people ask what the long-term outlook is for their pet with chronic renal failure? I will share a question from an owner and the answers given to it here:
Question from an owner who has been using the chronic renal failure protocol for 5 weeks.
“My question: what are the prospects?
He gets 6×4 cubes of raw meat, about 50 grams per day, 8.4 kilos and the dog is 16 years old, he drinks some organic oat milk with it, he gets all the drugs, vitamins, detoxifiers, etc.
Is this amount of food sufficient for him?
What else can I try that he will eat?
I took out of the meat that I shouldn't give more than this, right?
Has it ever happened that the SDMA went down as a result of the diet?
Thank you, xxx
Answer:
Thank you for the detailed description. My answers: what are the prospects? I wrote in the last question
Is this amount of food sufficient for him? In the protocol, for 4 kg of body weight, a total of 6×2 grams = 12 grams, the daily meat ration. This protects the kidneys and allows him to choose so many protein breakdown products. For 8.4 kg, 6x 4.2 grams = 25 grams of daily dose would be the appropriate dose in the first period, for about 1 month. If you give more than this, then no significant improvement in the condition of the kidneys is expected, because it poisons the body with protein breakdown products on a daily basis.
What else can you try to eat? The dog is already overloaded because you give him 2X more protein than he could eat.
I took it from the meat that you shouldn't give more than this, right? Exactly, you give him 2X more protein than he could eat.
Has it ever happened that the SDMA went back down as a result of dietary supplements? Yes, SDMA improves in all patients who have followed the protocol exactly. I recommend this to you too. Later, when SDMA has improved and urea and creatinine levels fall into the normal range, the dose of meat can be carefully increased by 20% per week. In the meantime, constantly monitor and control the urea level. If urea remains below the normal range, the dose of meat can be increased to double the initial dose, which is able to maintain an asymptomatic state even with reduced kidney function. In your case, this will mean 50 grams of meat per day for 8.4 kg. This is 20% of the protein dose (250 g per day) that can be given with 100% kidney function.

The kidneys can provide about 20-25% of their function when urea levels start to rise. This can help maintain an asymptomatic state. When the urea level check shows that it has left the normal range (this means that the amount of protein that can still be excreted without symptoms has been exceeded), a meat fasting day should be held, then the starting dose of 6×2 grams/4 kg of body weight per day should be returned and the protocol should be started again from the beginning.

Itching indicates an allergic reaction. The filling of the scent gland leads to irregular bowel movements, which can only be exacerbated by frequent pressure evacuation.

The dog's digestion must be supported, it needs good intestinal flora and natural fibers. To completely eliminate all kinds of chemicals that damage the intestinal flora.

Use this package: Digestive organs package

And read this: Dog leaky gut syndrome
destroys the dog's intestinal flora with chemicals given orally and contributes to the development of leaky gut syndrome. This is compounded by the feeding of processed food, as well as the carbohydrate content in the food, which all contribute to the formation of allergic reactions. Long-term chemical treatment can also cause the atrophy of the glands that produce gastric acid in the stomach, which can lead to reflux and vomiting symptoms. Read these two articles and you will see the solution:
1. Dog leaky gut syndrome
2. Causes and treatment options for dog and cat stomach acid “excess” and vomiting
What to do for the solution.
a. All forms of chemicals should be replaced with natural forms
b. Foods should be replaced with a diet free of processing and containing no starch at all
c. The intestinal flora and digestion and gastric juice secretion should be supported: Digestive organs package
d. Skin symptoms and allergies should also be soothed until the first 3 parts have taken effect, you can do this with Skin spport, Multivit Mega C, Pet coat support products, which you can use together with the package recommended in point c. Skin diseases and allergies(8)

Vigorous scratching is truly an allergic symptom, which has actually developed to all the proteins that you have consumed in the last 3 months. There is also a cross-allergy between poultry, meaning that if you eat duck, you will also be sensitive to it. Read this article: Leaky gut syndrome in dogs
The solution is to eliminate leaky gut syndrome, which can be helped with this package: Digestive organs package and by giving unprocessed food that does not contain starch or rapidly decomposing carbohydrates at all. Not cooked to death, just scalded or raw meat that the animal has definitely not eaten in the previous 3 months, 80%-90% meat (lean meat, cartilage, offal) and 10-20% cooked fibrous vegetables (zucchini, pumpkin, carrots, sweet potatoes, etc.) seasoned with duck fat. If you consume this for 3 months and apply the above digestive organs package, then after at least 3-4 months you can carefully return to the protein sources that previously showed allergic symptoms.
Be careful, because treatments, insecticides, antibiotics, and vaccines that damage the intestinal flora, used for any reason, can reverse the beneficial effects already achieved.

Do another routine urine test and sediment analysis, but in a different place, so that the results from two separate labs are also reliable. If cystitis is confirmed, then use this: Urinary tract inflammation package
If we want to rule out kidney failure, which can also be indicated by low urine density, then the SDMA value should be checked in the blood. If this is positive, then the initial stage of chronic kidney failure is behind the peeing, then this protocol should be started: Kidney failure treatment protocol.
If this is also negative, then start this package: Urine Drip package

Viral diseases of cats. The given preparations can be used for the prevention and supplementary treatment of viral FIV, FLV, FCV, FHV pathologies.

Vestibular syndrome
The causes of vestibular syndrome can be many. It is caused by inflammation of the inner ear, which is associated with a previous history of digestive system and food allergies or is caused by an increased inflammatory tendency during the change of seasons. Dizziness and even seizures may be associated with it. For its beneficial effects, a combination of Relax & Balance and Heart power is recommended, supplemented with the stomach and intestine package for long-term prevention, and it is recommended to feed grain-free, mainly based on unprocessed foods.

In my experience, dizziness symptoms most often result from the so-called leaky gut syndrome and the side effects of poisoning caused by pesticides. Please read this article: Dog leaky gut syndrome I recommend using this: Digestive organs (stomach and intestines) package
